We understand that our choices influence more than just our customers and staff. What we do has an impact on our community, also. That’s why we’re devoted to being good citizens and support our Ann Arbor community. Our social responsibility strategy was created to see to it that we are working to make a better future.

Environmental Impact

Corrigan Moving is devoted to caring for our planet by using sustainable business practices. These are a sampling of the ways that we are dedicated to this endeavor:

• Recycle or reuse used boxes, oil, and equipment
• Energy-saving equipment and lighting is outfitted at our buildings
• Use GPS tracking technology on our fleet of trucks to increase fuel efficiency
• Use of sustainable packing materials whenever possible
• Efficiently plan transportation routing and shipment loads to reduce emissions

Scholarship Program

Corrigan Moving is committed to advancement through education. We offer a scholarship to all incoming and current secondary-education students that are employed with Corrigan Moving as a mover during the summer months when they are off from school. Through this incentive each student-employee can earn up to a $1000 scholarship by committing to and following through with their summer employment.

 

 

Community Involvement

Involvement in our community is not only quite impactful, it is additionally the most enjoyable aspect of what we do. Every Corrigan location picks community events that speak to their local needs. We work to be worthy corporate citizens by giving our time, skills and capital resources to our communities.

Disaster Relief & Recovery

Most recently, several of our location assisted with relief efforts following the tornados in Kentucky. Corrigan Moving provided tractor-trailers, drivers, and labor to move several truckloads of supplies to Kentucky. These shipments included wet wipes, diapers, non-perishable food, socks, water, and numerous other supplies. This video highlights the efforts from just one of the offices that helped.
